The next day I received a voicemail from his accountant, Joe, and he let me know that he made the reservation for the correct night with no additional charge. GOD IS GOOD! Thank you DoubleTree for the true hospitality that was exuded today. We do not express positive feedback enough, and I wanted to make sure I expressed mine with you today.
The GM called me as soon as the holiday was over and addressed my issue directly. He took the time to listen and understand our delicate problem and circumstances behind the importance of the reservation. He then said he would call me back since he was going into a meeting.
It was very busy there this weekend but the room was nice and the bed comfortable. Room service is always a plus. Room service was great and so was the food. The burger was juicy and cooked the way we requested. I haven't stayed at the Double Tree in a long while but will definitely be back. I love thus one in particular because they have everything either at the hotel so you don't have to leave if you want to really spend a weekend in( restaurant, bar, indoor pool and jacuzzi ) and enough entertainment nearby. The mall, movies, D and B....
A surprisingly nice hotel tucked away on the edge of an office park. Great easy access to the mall and it's restaurants. Coffee at the front desk in the morning. There are some conference rooms that are useful, but they are not massive, though very well handled.
I stayed here on business for many years eventually moving on to other properties. I just when back on a trip booked by a client and had a bit of concern about how the property may have aged. I was pleasantly surprised. I was greeted at checked in by delightful, friendly and knowledgeable staff. The place clearly was refurbished somewhere along the way. I loved the business center placed right next to the bar with both privacy and convenience. The room was nice and spacious. The warm cookies were as wonderful as ever and the stay was a delight. Check out also was also delightful. Recommended for business and pleasure.
This feels more like an Extended Stay than a Hilton! Very very very old decor, carpets, furniture, etc. The walls were so thin that we could hear the guests next door talk till 3am everyday. Terrible stay. Pick another hotel. The hotel staff was very courteous and respectful though. One star for just for them :)
A family member had made a reservation through a 3rd party for the wrong night. The night had passed and when I called to try and get our rooms next to each other, they said there was no reservation under that name for that night. Ghana, the front desk agent, took his time to help me find the resume and the problem. Hotwire was of no help, and trip insurance was even purchased. I frantically called the hotel back and Ghana said that only the GM would be able to make a change like this and provided me with his email address.
