Excellent! We were welcomed and offered friendly assistance as soon as we entered the door. Our salesperson knew of the book for which we were looking, showed us the section , and within seconds, looked up the author for us and found the book. There were so many books throughout the store that were so enticing, just couldn't buy them all today!
Me: "No...and I'm not interested. Thanks"
Her: "Studying Up for yourself huh?"
Her" "...You would've saved $2"
Her: "Do you not shop here regularly?"
Excellent customer service! Wonderful selection of books, music and magazines. Appreciate the booksellers offering to order in what is not on the shelf. Charities gift wrapping means I can leave the store accomplished and donate to wonderful local charities. Hands down my favorite place to shop!

I was with my 5 year old, buying him an addition book & subtraction book. She started with a sour joke:
The other night (9/19) this pushy cashier agitated me with how many times I had to say "NO" to her!!!!!
Her: "It's a great way to save"
Me: "...it's for my little guys"
....WASN'T A GOOD EXPERIENCE. GO AMAZON!!!

Went to buy a NIV Bible for my daughter-in-law. Found many and the other book I had in mind for myself. I just wish they could sell them for the same price as online or other chain stores. But I do Love B&N.
Tbh , my favorite bookstore , always has been. I've probably bought over 100 books (lifetime fitness) at your bookstore and today for the first time my experience wasn't great. I walked in to return a book which went smoothly and when I went to go look for a book I had an empty coffee cup. I looked for a trash can and found one behind an empty counter. When I turn around I am greeted by a woman working there giving me the "Stink eye" and questioning me if I needed help. I responded "no, is everything good?" It was strange. I wanted to test the waters a bit and went back to throw away more trash. When I did I was told off by the woman something along the lines of "don't go back there" I replied "I just threw away some trash" she replied "you can ask us to throw it away for you" I hit her w a "I don't care... relax miss" I was excited to get a book and look where we are now. Get your shit together miss.
